In the third quarter of 2024, fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in South America showed varied performance. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibit different trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with approximately 172K downloads and peaking at over 215K in early August. However, it experienced a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, concluding with around 157K downloads. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, starting at 2.8M and ending the quarter slightly lower at 2.77M.

Burger King Brasil maintained a relatively stable download rate, beginning with around 108K downloads and ending with approximately 79K. Active users hovered around 600K throughout the quarter, with a noticeable dip in mid-August but recovering to 643K by the end of September.

The KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve displayed a steady pattern in downloads, starting at 38K and declining to about 25K by the quarter's end. Its active users remained consistent, with a slight decrease from 391K to 372K over the quarter.
